What is the Difference Between Mineral Make-up's and Regular Make-up?

BARE ESSENTIALS MINERAL MAKEUP

Those of us that use make up are constantly asking the question, what's the difference between Mineral and Regular Make-up?

No matter what age we are there are a
few facts we must consider when looking at skin care and Make-up...Nourishment, Protection, enhancement. When looking at this we all want the best for our skin and we all want to look our best. Mineral Make-up comes up as number one. It also contains no synthetic dyes, binders or fragrance. This is an excellent point when dealing with skin sensitivities and allergies. Mica, Zinc oxide and titanium oxide with the zinc oxide providing a natural UVA-UVB protection, makes it an excellent choice.

The application
of loose mineral make up can be a bit messy and requires some time to be comfortable with use. The loose powder gives the skin a wonderful glow and youthful appearance, this is hard to find with regular make up. However, we cannot forget our non-mineral products in our collections. Although it contains the talc and binders along with the fragrance, if you can use it on your skin it does have some positive points. The regular make up holds brighter more intense colour, this can give us a unique finish and can be used along with Mineral Make up for definition. Although Mineral Make-up takes first consideration on our inventory list we should keep some space for the non-mineral, as it is important for special effects or enhancements.

Some key things to remem
ber when working with mineral based make-up. Some people complain that the mineral make up can age the skin, intensify wrinkles, and irritate the skin. Products have been developed to work with Mineral Make-up. Look for beauty serums and cosmetics with fortifying lipids that help seal and protect the skins moisture balance. Sphingolipids and silicones are combined in a rich formulation to help create a smoother-than-silk surface prior to make-up. Lipids help to renew skins barrier function thereby reducing precious moisture loss.

With all the talk of Mineral versus Non-Mineral types of Make-up, we cannot forget that healthy beautiful skin starts with a good maintenance program including cleansing and moisturizing and we have to make time for our skin s
o it will be good to us for all time.
